About Our Rathmines Doctor Service:

  • Many GP surgeries close in the late afternoon. For patients who cannot attend during the working day, our Rathmines clinic offers evening Doctor appointments during the week, with availability until 9pm.

  • No. Our out-of-hours clinic is not an emergency department. If you have chest pain, severe breathing difficulty, signs of stroke, heavy bleeding, or any life-threatening symptoms, call 999 or go to A&E.

  • Most appointments last around 15–20 minutes, depending on the nature of your symptoms and whether further assessment or treatment is required.

  • Yes. If your GP believes further investigation is appropriate, they can refer you for imaging, blood tests or specialist review.

  • If you would like us to update your regular GP about your consultation, we can do so with your consent.

  • Yes — there is nearby on-street and multi-storey parking in the Rathmines area, within >2 minutes walking distance of the clinic.

    Please allow a little extra time to find parking during busy periods.
